Texas is Safe

I feel have mixed feelings about moving back home to Texas. On one hand, I miss my state but on the other hand I have gotten used to Aspen. But a job is a job and in this economy, you cannot complain if you are lucky enough to get one. The wife is a little torn but excited. She has never lived out of Colorado so this will be an adventure.

My wife is into statistics. Apparently Texas ranks pretty high up there in crime though I never noticed when I lived there. In fact, it was pretty boring. To soothe her concerns we are moving to a gated community where the crime statistics are low. Mostly petty crimes committed by bored teenagers. Read the rest of this entry »

This organization is unique and has a different clientele than other security professional organizations such as ASIS International. The NCMS is dedicated to equipping, training and providing this unique group of professionals and their support of the National Industrial Security Program.
